The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid together with the president of the association AFAMMER, "Association of Families and Women in rural areas", Carmen English English, have signed this morning a partnership agreement to carry out activities that promote equal opportunities between men and women.
The Torre-Pacheco Town Council through the Executive Department Area Social Welfare and Health (Department of Women and Equality), performs actions to promote equal opportunities between men and women as well as projects that promote work life balance and professional to integrate women into the labor market.
The object of the agreement, the collaboration between the city of Torre-Pacheco and the Association of Families and Women in Rural Areas, in carrying out actions and activities aimed at promoting equality of opportunity between men and women and promoting the reconciliation of family and professional life.
Des this agreement are benefiting more than 300 families.
In the schools of San Cayetano, Roldan and Balsicas are representing "The Sock Colorín" about the reconciliation of professional and family life which claims that the father and mother take care of household chores.
