The Socialist Party of Torre Pacheco will perform this weekend during an extensive program of activities to commemorate the International Day of Working Women.
The Local Executive and Socialist Youth PSRM organize these events to the conviction that "we must continue the tremendous work done by thousands and millions of women who contributed their work, effort, and in many cases their lives to the defense of feminism equality and women's rights. "
The program includes the following activities:
Saturday March 7, 2009
- At 11.00 hours: an informative assembly and distribution of carnations at the weekly market.
- At 17.00 hours: film forum with the screening of the film "Thirteen Roses" directed by Emilio Martínez Lázaro, at the headquarters of the Socialist Party of Torre Pacheco.
Sunday March 8, 2009
- First meeting of women food-socialists.
Torre Pacheco Socialists invite all the residents of the municipality to attend the events planned.
