Firefighters and emergency medical services have been unable to do anything to save a man who died after being hit by a train in the town of Torre Pacheco.

The 1-1-2 received, at 14.57 hours, Adif call reporting that a train had hit a person on the railway, 3 km from the La Palma-Pozo Estrecho station, towards Murcia.

The person would have been under the train.

The place firefighters were mobilized Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue Region of Murcia (CEIS) and a Mobile Emergency Murcia Health Service and Local Police and Civil Guard.

Emergency services have failed more than certify the death of the victim, a male.
