This morning took place the presentation of Project CreAcción chain "in the hall of the Municipal Services Institute for Social Action (IMSAS).

The Torre-Pacheco Town Council through its Municipal Services Institute for Social Action (IMSAS) has launched the project "CreAcción chain."

This project is funded by the Ministry of Labour and Immigration and European Integration Fund for the year 2011.

The purpose of this project is to promote social and cultural participation of young people from different countries by using new information technologies and audiovisual communication.

This project is a continuation of the activities that the municipality of Torre Pacheco through Project Andoenredando (www.andoenredando.es).

"CreAcción CHAIN" presents new innovative approaches that respond to the emerging demand for activities related to the artistic, or educational film.

The training offer is made by Project Workshops "Graphic design and screen printing", "Fashion Design" or "Creating Short Films" that will start on 5, 7 and April 27, 2011.

These workshops provide for learning artistic techniques that encourage creativity and promote teamwork through the creation of shorts or clothing design inspired by the trends that we offer the film world.

This training offer is complemented with educational activities in primary schools and secondary schools in the municipality of Torre Pacheco.

Tele-Education Virtual Classroom Dima or are some of the two main activities to be conducted in four centers in the municipality during the first semester and will address more than five hundred students.

These activities incorporate an innovative working methods and introduce new forms of social intervention through the network, addressing top issues today such as racism and xenophobia, bullying and ethnic and cultural discrimination by a working system that combines classroom learning with work on-line through an online tutorial created for the development of these activities (www.andoenredando.es / classroom / tutoring).
