The Colonel Director of the AGA, Miguel Ivorra, has a meeting with the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, to publicize the different activities scheduled for the 75th anniversary of the Academy during this year.
León thanked the visit of the Colonel Director of the AGA to the municipality, and recalled the historical link that exists between the City Council of Torre Pacheco and the AGA.
He also referred to the commitment of the Municipal Corporation approved in plenary, to collaborate and participate in the events related to the 75th anniversary of this military institution.
Ivorra showed his gratitude for the reception at Torre Pacheco and for being able to share the events and activities that will take place during this year commemorating the 75th anniversary of the AGA, remembering that the General Air Academy was created and located in San Javier on July 28 of 1943.
The events planned for the anniversary will be presented on Thursday March 22 at the same General Academy, Ivorra reported, noting that the AGA will receive the Order of Civil Merit on May 11, in its modality of Tie, granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following the requests made by the Autonomous Government and the Regional Assembly.
Aerial Festival, exhibitions and conferences, concerts by the AGA music band, and Juras de Bandera, are some of the events that have been scheduled.
