The international English phase will be held in London in May 2018
Fifty students of institutes of the Region of Murcia have disputed in Cartagena this Saturday the provincial phase of the VI Speech Contest in Spanish and III Public Speaking Contest of the Activat-T Educational Foundation.
There were four places available to represent the Region at a national level, since two age categories have been established in Spanish and English.
Junior, students from 12 to 15 years old and Senior, from 16 to 18 years old.
The theme of this call # lasvocesdelmañana has been: "The best way to predict the future is to invent it."
Three CCE students, Virgen del Pasico from Torre Pacheco, have been proclaimed champions of two prizes in English and one in Spanish:

The New Castelar College of San Pedro del Pinatar is the winner of the VI Spanish Speaking Competition
It is the third year that CCE Virgen del Pasico participates in this public speaking contest and has already achieved four awards.
The student Raúl Hernández was crowned last year winner of the Fifth Oratory Contest in Spanish at a national level.
And there have been three winners in Oratory in Spanish and English of the Region of Murcia of this same center.
At ten o'clock in the morning, at La Atalaya School in Cartagena, outdoor activities began with improvised speeches.
They consisted, for example, of starting with the phrase: "The best news that I have been given today is ...", also talking about three strengths that each student had based on some sweets or to draw a random object from a bag. make sellers in front of the public.
The objective was to release tensions and work on improvisation.
The next phase was the presentation of three-minute speeches to inform the audience and the jury of their opinion on the theme proposed by the Activa-t Educational Foundation: "The best way to predict the future is to invent it".
To prepare, the targeted students have conducted face-to-face and virtual workshops between October and March.
National phase: # lasvocesdelmañana most prominent of each province will celebrate the VI National Oratory Contest on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Valencia.
International phase: The winning senior student of the III Public Speaking Contest, an English Speaking Contest, will represent Spain in the International Speech Contest to be held in London in May 2018.
