This morning in the press room of the City Council of Torre-Pacheco, the twenty-fourth Duathlon Villa de Torre-Pacheco has been presented, which will be held on Saturday, February 17.
The Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León, the Councilor for Sports, Raúl Lledó, the president of the Federation of Triathlon of the Region of Murcia, Diego Calvo, and the Sports coach, Rafael Alcázar, were in charge of presenting this event sports, which has more than 500 registered.
One more year, the Department of Sports of the City of Torre-Pacheco organizes this test, in collaboration with the Federation of Triathlon of the Region of Murcia.

The absolute and junior runners will leave at 15.30.
More than 500 registered, among which are high level athletes.
The pachequero Antonio Luis Alcaraz, recently named as the best triathlete in the Region of Murcia, will participate in this edition of the Duathlon Villa de Torre-Pacheco.
Antonio Luis better known as the "Bubilla" has a mark of 1: 08'45 '' and comes to this test in very good physical shape.
The president of the Federation, Diego Calvo, has commented on the technical characteristics of the event and has highlighted the great level of Duathlon Villa de Torre-Pacheco.
In addition, pointed out that of the 516 registered, 100 are women, noting that this is the first time that the number of women is so high, reporting on the campaigns that the Federation is doing to bring women to sports.
Rafael Alcázar pointed out that this year the Torre-Pacheco Triathlon Club was created, with the intention of participating in the next year's edition.
Aiming that we will have the Olympic Medalist David Cal Figueroa for the trophies, which as in previous editions have been made by the Prometeo Association.
Lledó concluded his speech by thanking volunteers, collaborators and sponsors for their involvement in the realization of the event and, of course, he highlighted the work of the Triathlon Federation of the Region of Murcia.
A day that aims to be the sport festival in Torre-Pacheco, inviting the residents of the municipality to go out next Saturday to enjoy the sport and encourage the athletes in the XXIV Duathlon Villa de Torre-Pacheco.
