The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation, aimed at clarifying several thefts with force in homes and shops of Torre Pacheco, which has resulted in the arrest of an experienced criminal who is attributed the alleged responsibility of, at less, 39 crimes of robbery with force, robbery with violence and intimidation, threats and theft.
Specialists in prevention of public safety of the Benemérita began the proceedings after detecting the increase of robberies with force in homes and shops in the pachequeras districts of Balsicas and Roldán, facts that had generated some social alarm in the population.
The investigations conducted led the agents to a well-known and experienced criminal, neighbor of Torre Pacheco, who had been seen in streets not very busy and close to the homes where the robberies were committed that, allegedly, could be found after the authorship of the crimes investigated. .
The information obtained in the course of the investigation allowed to find out that the suspect, in addition, had intimidated a neighbor of Balsicas-Torre Pacheco when he left his home, to remove various jewels and money, while putting a razor on his neck, which It was seized from the criminal scene by a Corps patrol.
In addition, it is related to alleged threats made against a neighbor of the municipality who, knowing his criminal activities, was threatened with death by him at some time.
Five judicial requisitions in force
On this delinquent weighed, in addition, five judicial orders of search and detention for crimes similar to those investigated.
The Civil Guard established a series of surveillance devices aimed at its location, one of which was positive when the agents surprised him at his home, located in Lo Ferro-Torre Pacheco, while he, detecting the police presence, tried to flee to through the rooftop to adjoining homes, although it was finally reached.
The young man, 19 years old and Moroccan nationality, meticulously planned his assaults, for which he selected his targets: homes that at the time of the robberies were uninhabited or shops without security systems.
To access the buildings he used shears, crowbars and screwdrivers with which they forced the windows, bars or entry doors;
Once inside, he subtracted effects of value and money.
Later, he fled from the place to take refuge in nearby houses, sometimes in the apartments of friends and others, of relatives, where he also hid the tools used to commit the robbery, as well as the booty obtained.
In addition, to perpetrate the robberies and with the purpose of obstructing the police work, he covered his hands with gloves.
The investigation has culminated with the arrest of a male, aged 19, of Moroccan nationality and neighbor of Torre Pacheco as alleged perpetrator of at least 39 crimes of burglary in homes and shops, robbery with violence and intimidation, threats and theft, as well as the recovery of a knife and tools used to commit robberies.
The arrested, the proceedings and the effects seized have been made available to the Court of Instruction on duty in San Javier (Murcia).
