The Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports, Raúl Lledó today presented the program of sports activities for the municipality of Torre-Pacheco "Activa-T", this year in addition to maintaining the activities they have operated in previous campaigns, have been offered new, as well as, have been extended to the districts of El Jimenado and Los Meroños, which had no activities last year.
As a novelty, this year we must highlight the creation of new social workshops, physical activity workshops that are carried out in collaboration with the Department of Social Services, with the purpose of bringing physical activity closer to groups with "special" circumstances, .
In addition, in order to implement the sports offer, agreements are being made with sports associations of the municipality, to carry out various activities, such as aerobics, hypopressives, and zumba, among others.
Lledó thanked the work, effort and dedication of the clubs and sports associations, which contribute to the Torre-Pacheco municipality having one of the largest sports offerings in the region.
