The Special Vocational Training Program (PFPE) of Nursery and Gardens Assistant is aimed at students who do not finish ESO, and aims at social and work reintegration.
The program that has been closed today, has been granted by the Ministry of Education and developed for two years by the PROMETEO Association.
Choni Aparicio, a tutor of the program, commented that "for two years we have worked with them to get their certification, and we are very proud of the results."
Pedro Avilés, professor of the Gardening Program, added that "the reform of the Garden of Jerónimo Gea has been the final course work of students, where creation is what motivates them most, with visible results."
Students with this course have had the opportunity to create, feel useful, and above all see the result of their work, embodied in this garden, that can be enjoyed by the neighbors of Torre-Pacheco.
The Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León, thanked the Promethean Association for recovering this urban space, thanking once again the great work done by this association for the social insertion of its users, this being an example of the many Which they carry out.
