The reception in the Plenary Hall of the City Hall by the Mayor, Antonio Leon and the Councilor for Tourism, Rosalía Rosique was the beginning of an intense day, in which 20 tourism technicians from different municipalities of the Region participated.

The familiarization visits of the Network of Tourist Offices of the Region of Murcia, has commented the Councilor for Tourism "are made with the aim that tourism technicians know first hand the different tourist and cultural resources that exist in the Region ".

This action is part of the familiarization program promoted by the Institute of Tourism in collaboration with the different City Councils of the Region and its Tourism Offices.

Tourism technicians have visited the permanent exhibition on the Cabezo Gordo "Neandertal Mountain", the Municipal Library, the Mill and the Ermita del Pasico and finally the Cabezo Gordo, Sima de las Palomas and Cueva del Agua.

In addition, they have known the three tourist routes of the municipality, as they are the Urbana route, the Green route, the route of the Molinos and the route of Cabezo Gordo.

Professionals from Mazarrón, Alcázares, San Javier, Puerto Lumbreras, Molina de Segura, Alhama de Murcia, San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier, Union, Lorca, Cehegín and Murcia, have enjoyed a day of tourism in Torre-Pacheco , Where they have been able to know the resources with which we have, in addition to taking information to be able to transmit to its users, and inform knowing the tourist and cultural possibilities with which the municipality of Torre-Pacheco has.
