Today 28 June, is a landmark day for the celebration of "Pride LGTBI" is a visible framework for sexual diversity of all citizens.
The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio Leon and the Councillor for Equality, Veronica Martinez, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation, they have placed this morning pride flag on the facade of City Hall.
The City of Torre-Pacheco, is added first to the celebration of this day, opening a new era of freedom, transparency and participation, claiming the fight for equality of all people, irrespective of their sexual orientation or identity of genre.
Today they have started the activities planned for the campaign "Proud to be free", with the start flag at City Hall, and dissemination in social networks of a commemorative video and awareness;
tomorrow afternoon in the book "Strawberries in Syrup" by the Alicante writer, Maria José D. Lucas is presented;
also it has scheduled a talk on "Affective and Sexual Diversity";
and July 8 activity that closes the program and which aims to be more massive is the Feast Pride Celebration 2016, in Roldan.
For the organization of these activities it has had bars and cafés in town, thus giving a social projection.
