The City of Torre Pacheco wants to show its strongest rejection and condemnation of the terrible events that took place last Friday in the village of Olmos, and the solidarity of all the people of Torre Pacheco with the family of the victim, a resident of our town.
The City Council is awaiting the results of the investigation of the forces and state security, which is under judice, and maintains a fluid contact with both the Civil Guard and with the Government Delegation, who are working from the first minute for a quick clarification of what happened.
Since the institution, we want to join the pain of the district of Olmos, a people whose peace has been truncated by these terrible events, as well as the town of Roldan where the victim worked as a teacher for two years, and the neighboring municipality of Cartagena, where he currently taught class.
We also want, on behalf of the town of Torre Pacheco, send a message of support to the family of the victim, and our solidarity in this time of grief.
