The Health Center This "Ernest Lluch" hosted the celebrations in honor of Ernest Lluch, 30 anniversary of the General Health Law.
On Saturday morning an emotional tribute to Ernest Lluch was held commemorating the 30th anniversary of Public Health in Spain.
In 2000, as Minister of Health Ernest Lluch ETA he ended his life, one year after the Plenum of the Municipal Corporation unanimously decided that the Health Center This bear his name.
The emotional ceremony, attended by a large number of pachequeros, Enric Lluch, vice president of the Ernest Lluch Foundation, Rosa Peñalver, President of the Regional Assembly, Antonio Leon, Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Manager Health Area VIII also was Tomas Salvador Fernández, Pedro Saura, National Deputy and councilors of the Corporation, as well as mayors and councilors from previous corporations, in addition to medical staff.
In addition to unveiling a commemorative plaque acts, it opened the exhibition "Ernest Lluch. The effort to build a country", performing a round of interventions where all stressed the importance of the figure of Lluch as instigator of the National Health System, and the significance it had for Torre-Pacheco that the Minister of health inaugurated in our town the first health center in 1984.
