Paloma Bas poured false and defamatory accusations towards the only councilor of the government team that has suffered covid19, accusing of having infected her family by an alleged social gathering that did not take place based on a hoax. The Socialists consider that it was of an incompatible moral basement to which the members of the municipal corporation must demonstrate and they will break all relations with the Torre Pacheco PP if it does not retract. The PSOE of Torre Pacheco has come forward before the red line crossed by the municipal spokesperson of the Popular Party in the plenary session held on Thursday night.
In that session, Paloma Bas, without evidence and based on a hoax, accused the only councilor of the government team that has suffered the covid19 of "having caused the contagion of her entire family after attending a social gathering of a rock." A base, despicable and absolutely false defamation, since the only councilor who has suffered the coronavirus has remained firm in complying with the prevention actions before, during and after its contagion.
He did not attend any such social gathering, he was the last person in his family to test positive for the disease a week after the first case in his environment, and he has carried out each and every one of the health protocols, reaching 25 days of confinement domiciliary. In addition, his intervention was especially hurtful with an economic sector that is suffering the consequences of the pandemic such as the hospitality industry, since his words described them as irresponsible without taking into account the amount of investment and effort generated to make their establishments a place safer against viruses. For the pachequero socialists, the unfortunate intervention of Paloma Bas is tremendously serious: Paloma Bas used despicably and ruinly a matter as delicate as this damned disease that more than a thousand pachequeros have already suffered. Paloma Bas demonstrated a disastrous rigor by publicly disclosing a false accusation, echoing a hoax without presenting any evidence and without having contrasted said controversial accusation. Paloma Bas demonstrated a treacherous and cowardly attitude, by throwing the lie in a public forum as solemn as a plenary session is, and then hiding under the umbrella of ambiguity, showing that she was very aware of the seriousness of what she was saying. Paloma Bas broke down the wall of courtesy and decorum that should always be above political differences. Paloma Bas, pretending to do personal and political harm in a despicable way, what she has done without realizing it is to project her worst personal qualities through her actions. Therefore, from the PSOE "we ask Paloma Bas and, by extension, the Popular Party of Torre Pacheco, to publicly retract the defamatory hoax that he threw against the only councilor of the municipal government who has suffered the covid19, or any relationship will be broken politics".
