From the "EJOVEN" employment and training project promoted by the Torre Pacheco City Council, the first phase of occupational training is being developed in the Young Space of Torre Pacheco (former Rosario school).
The purpose of this project is the labor insertion of 24 unemployed people, through their professional qualification in alternation with effective work through their participation in works or services of public utility or social interest for this municipality.The 24 students participating in this project are being trained in the specialties of "Auxiliary operations for the assembly of electromagnetic and telecommunications installations in buildings" and "Auxiliary operations of continuous coatings in construction".
This professional training that they are acquiring alternately with effective work enables these students, both for the search for employment as an employee, and for the development as entrepreneurs of their own business projects.Once this first phase of occupational training is finished, the rehabilitation and adaptation works of the public spaces of the old Rosario school will begin, whose architectural project provides for the creation of a youth resource center equipped with the facilities and means necessary to convert this young space is an engine for the revitalization of culture in the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
