The Colorines Municipal Infant Schools of Torre Pacheco and Roldán began the school year yesterday, normally, and with the adaptation of the contingency plan prepared by the team of teachers, as commented by the director, Arcadia Fernández, to Councilor for Education, Paco Sáez, who has visited the Nursery School to learn about the measures taken.A total of 65 students are currently enrolled at the EIM Colorines de Torre Pacheco, prioritizing renewal students, as well as children whose parents both work, with the anticipation of expanding enrollment in October.The Councilor for Education, Paco Sáez, thanked the teachers of the Municipal Infant Schools for the work done, taking the opportunity to congratulate them for the Contingency Plan drawn up, in which all the organizational prevention and protection measures that have been been agreed upon and carried out by the entire Educational Community for its implementation, with the aim of a safe, healthy and sustainable return to school.

In addition, he thanked parents for their involvement and awareness in respecting the instructions provided by the center, as well as the trust placed in the staff of the Municipal Infant Schools.Sáez has reported that the CAIs of Dolores de Pacheco, Balsicas and San Antonio will open next October, along with the one in Roldán, which is currently managed by the Torre Pacheco City Council.

We have to work with more insistence on hygiene and safety measures, for this, small and stable class-groups have been established (bubble classrooms) in order to manage the possible appearance of a covid-19 case in an appropriate and early way " .Reiterating that during the month of September, and while the adaptation period lasts, the children spend two hours in the classroom, staggered and with schedules to be able to disinfect the classrooms and the material each time a new group enters, creating bubble groups of 8 children, coinciding in groups of 4 children, in the 2-year-old classrooms, and as for the 1-year-old classrooms, the bubble groups are of 5 children, which, together with the large space that the center has, the classrooms They are simple, with easier to detect if a case of COVID-19 arises.The Councilor for Education has pointed out that the City Council has adopted measures to protect the health of students, teachers and families, and that it continues to work so that the start of the 2020-21 school year passes normally throughout the municipality.
