| The cleaning staff will be there for 4 hours a day, during school hours, in addition to the usual cleaning service | The Torre Pacheco City Council has intensified cleaning in the municipal schools to meet the protection and hygiene needs of the staff of the educational centers and the students against COVID-19 and guarantee a safe return to the classrooms, planned if There is no new change before the start of the course, for Monday, September 14.With the expansion of these actions that are being carried out, it is intended to give a better response to the instructions issued to establish the hygiene-sanitary prevention measures that the centers have to apply, which must have a cleaning and disinfection protocol that respond to its characteristics.As explained by the Councilor for Education, Paco Sáez, in the visit he has made to the Fontes school, cleaning and disinfection will be carried out every day, reinforcing it in those spaces that need depending on the intensity of use, as is the case of the toilets, also paying special attention to the areas of common use and the most frequent contact surfaces.
Likewise, it has indicated that these additional works to the usual cleaning and disinfection, will be carried out by the City Council so that parents have the peace of mind that their children attend classes in optimal conditions in what cleaning and hygiene refers, pointing out that a cleaning checkpoint will be daily during school hours in schools, in addition, it has been reported that municipal custodians,they will carry out daily disinfection tasks with hypochlorite outside the schools.The councilor has added that work is being carried out to refurbish schools, paint, arrange furniture and adapt spaces, among others.
