The Torre Pacheco City Council, within the Torre Pacheco 2020 Reactive Plan, has launched the call for aid for employment and competitiveness of SMEs and local self-employed, with a first line of 100,000 euros in direct subsidies.
The application submission period will be open until September 30, 2020.The Municipal Government Team approved last May the 2020 Torre Pacheco Reactive Plan, with more than 80 measures to reactivate the economic, social fabric and to fight against the productive and health crisis caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.The FIRST POINT of this AGREEMENT was the provision of a Municipal Economic Development Plan, to establish four lines of subsidies for the self-employed and SMEs, specified in the following programs: 1.
Employment promotion; 2.
Modernization of commerce and hospitality; 3.
Creation, innovation and improvement of competitiveness in small companies; and 4.
Rental of premises and expenses of the first establishment, with an initial amount of 100,000 euros, which can be increased through reductions in the rest of the activities, suspended contracts and agreements based on the Ordinance for the Promotion of Employment and Business Activity in the municipality.According to the Councilor for Finance and Local Development, Carlos López, access to these grants "will be an important boost especially for those micro-businesses that have undertaken or must undertake adaptations and modernization to face the consequences of the pandemic.
In addition to contributing to the promotion of employment, with direct aid to the hiring of personnel, the creation of web pages or e-commerce services, the modernization of establishments with new safety and hygiene measures, the launch of technological innovation projects, as well as the installation of new companies in commercial areas, supporting entrepreneurs who decide to start an activity in the municipality ".You can now access all the information of the call, as well as the application forms at www.torrepacheco.es.
