| 80,000 euros to contribute to the development and dissemination of fair events | The City Council of Torre Pacheco and the Villa de Torre Pacheco Fair Institution have signed a collaboration agreement for the promotion of fair events.
The objective is to contribute to the development and dissemination of its various consolidated fair competitions at the national fair level, also promoting commercial development and the tourist and economic projection of the municipality.The Mayor of Torre Pacheco and IFEPA President, Antonio León, together with the Councilor for Finance, Carlos López, and the Councilor for Commerce, Yolanda Castaño, have held a meeting with the Managing Director of IFEPA, Antonio Miras, Manuel Martínez, Secretary and Jesús Martínez, Head of Administration, prior to the signing of the agreement, where various topics of interest have been discussed, as well as all the circumstances that have occurred in recent months, a special situation that all the fairs in Spain have gone through.The agreement, which represents 80,000 euros from the Torre Pacheco City Council, will allow the Fair Institution to adapt to future challenges, a boost to the economy, at the moment, as the engine of economic reconstruction.Antonio Miras, Managing Director of IFEPA, thanked the City Council for its collaboration, as well as the municipal interest reflected in the extension of the agreement, and the amount, double the number of past editions.
In addition, he added that at the last meeting of the IFEPA Executive Committee, it was decided to resume the activity next September, with the XVIII Antiquities Unpacking of Murcia, to be held from September 25 to 27, with the start-up of the Plan contingency prepared by the Fair Institution, and risk prevention, consolidating IFEPA, as a safe space, point of connection of the hospitality and tourism sector in our municipality.Carlos López, Councilor for Finance, thanked the IFEPA team for their work and work to plan the future of the Fair Institution.
Likewise, he wanted to convey the interest of the government team to the Fair Institution, pointing out that one of the first measures taken in the Torre Pacheco Reactive Plan, has been to promote and cover IFEPA in this extraordinary situation.
In addition, it has highlighted the quality and guarantee of excellence in its management, and has reiterated that the City Council continues to work so that the Villa de Torre Pacheco Fair Institution is a benchmark for our municipality and the Region of Murcia.
