| Director José Antonio Fernández Lladó visits the works of RM-F12 | The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure recovers the road safety of six regional roads that run through the municipality of Torre Pacheco and that were affected by Dana last year.
The actions carried out on these roads to return them to their optimal state involve an investment by the Community of more than 305,000 euros. These works are included in the 89 actions contemplated on regional highways, amounting to 14.72 million euros, for which the Autonomous Executive has asked for help from the State and in which the Community has already carried out repairs worth 4, 7 million euros. The Director General of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, visited this week the last action carried out, which corresponds to the road that connects the districts of Balsicas with Roldán and Balsapintada (RM-F12), in which he has rebuilt the support slope of the firm that was affected by torrential rains. "The work that has been carried out will improve the security conditions for the 5,721 vehicles that transit this regional route daily," said the director, who indicated that the action has also included the covering of the gutter with concrete to prevent future erosions . The regional manager recalled that, in addition to RM-F12, the road connecting the pachequera district of Balsicas with the municipality of Los Alcázares (RM-F26) has been repaired; the one that connects the municipality with Los Martínez del Puerto (RM-F21); the one that connects the A-30 motorway with Torre Pacheco (RM-F14); the one that communicates San Cayetano with Roda (RM-F27); and the one that connects Pozo Aledo with La Puebla (RM-F28).
