The mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, and the councilor for Culture, Raúl Lledó have presented the XIV Open Air Painting Contest "Landscape and Country", to be held on Saturday September 12, 2020, framed in the commemorative events of the Municipality Day.The City Council of Torre Pacheco through the Department of Culture, summons this event in order to reward, promote and spread creative and aesthetic values ??in the world of Plastic Arts in the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
The theme of the Contest will be about the people, events, landscapes, scenes and corners of the entire municipality of Torre Pacheco.The inscription in the Contest and sealing of works will be next Saturday, September 12 at the Center for Performing Arts of Torre Pacheco, from 8:30 to 11:00.
The finished works will be presented at the control established in the CAES at the time established by the organization throughout the day.
The Jury ruling, made up of specialists in the field of Plastic Arts and the world of culture, will be published on the municipal website, and the works will be exhibited in the Exhibition Hall of the Municipal Public Library of Torre Pacheco.As pointed out, the Councilor for Culture, three categories are established:Category A: From 18 years old, with prizes of € 3,000, € 2,000 and 1,000 euros for the three selected works, based on the artistic value, originality, technique used, materials used and the author's ability to transmit the contest.Category B: From 12 to 17 years old, with three prizes: € 300, € 100 and € 50.Category C: Up to 12 years old, with 3 prizes worth 250 euros, € 80 and € 50.The mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, has valued the organization of this Competition, encouraging his participation and the involvement of the residents of Torre Pacheco in the development of this day in the municipality, with art and culture as the protagonist.The information about the event and the rules are published on the website of the City Council
