The City Council launches a service that is responsible for around 300 children's games, bio-healthy circuits and geronto-gym elements in the municipality.The opening to the public of the playgrounds and recreational areas of the Torre Pacheco parks has forced the City Council to adopt new cleaning and disinfection measures against COVID-19.
Starting this Monday, July 6, the park and garden maintenance service provided by STV Gestión will proceed to meet these needs and keep disinfected, as established by national and regional regulations, around 300 children's games and recreational areas spread throughout the term.
municipal.From the Department of Personnel and Contracting of the City Council of Torre Pacheco it is indicated that the works will be carried out both in the urban area of ??Torre Pacheco and in all districts, so that both boys and girls, the elderly and users of bio-healthy circuits of the municipality can enjoy these facilities, safely and with all the guarantees of disinfection.
From the maintenance service of parks and gardens of STV Gestión, it has been emphasized that the disinfection will be carried out at night so as not to hinder the enjoyment of playgrounds and recreational areas during the day.These tasks will be carried out with two work teams equipped with vehicles and pressure groups for spraying the disinfectant product, using products that are completely harmless to people and pets.
The disinfection will be carried out in a generic way, treating both the elements of games and accesses, perimeter fences and pavement on which they are located.The Torre Pacheco City Council reminds that, despite these disinfection efforts, it is necessary to continue to maintain all personal security measures to go to the parks, that is, that children over 6 years old and adults must use a mask, keep the safety distance with people who are not cohabitants or from the same group, as well as, follow all the hygiene guidelines that are established in the signs installed in the parks.STV Gestión will proceed to carry out these tasks routinely throughout the municipality to keep children's games and recreational areas in perfect hygiene, following the regulations set by the Autonomous Community.
The STV service chief explains that, since the parks are important meeting spaces for all the residents of the municipality, extreme care will be taken to help maintain their safety while enjoying the parks and gardens of Torre Pacheco .
