After the period of state of alarm, the Executive Committee of IFEPA chaired by Antonio León Garre, Mayor of Torre Pacheco and President of the fair institution, has met in the city of Murcia, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Enterprise, Industry and Spokesperson.
, and with the presence of the new General Director of Commerce and Business Innovation, María José Ros Olivo, as well as the Secretary General of the Ministry, José Gabriel Sánchez Torregrosa.In the development of the same, all the circumstances that occurred during these last months were reported, since after the celebration of the Caravaning and Winter Freak salons, other scheduled fairs such as Equimur or the XVIII Occasion Vehicle Show had to be canceled.
The IFEPA Managing Director, Antonio Miras Morente, highlighted the special situation that all the fairs in Spain have gone through, being currently in a position to return to the fair activity at the end of September with the XVIII Antiquities Unpacking.
The Regional Palace of Fairs and Exhibitions will host in October the Construction Fair and, before the end of the year, the XXXVI Salon of Automotive and Related Industries.The Trade Fair Institution is a privileged showcase for the Region of Murcia and needs financial support, as was shown in this session of the Executive Committee, to be able to adapt to future challenges once its solvency and the role it has played for three decades as a tool to boost the regional economy and, at the moment, as an engine for economic reconstruction.
