The Torre Pacheco City Council has decided to increase the deadline for the submission of offers for the sale and rental of industrial plots of the Dolores de Pacheco and Balsicas industrial estates, until July 22, 2020.They are more than 65,000 square meters of industrial land, located a few minutes from the main regional communication routes -Aviavía del Mar Menor and AP7-, which are also part of the Mediterranean axis of freight transport by road, and located less than 30 minutes from the port of Cartagena and the International Airport of the Region of Murcia.The objective of this procedure is above all to promote business activity and job creation.
The City Council has included the innovative formula of "surface right", a modality of long-term rental of industrial land, lasting 35 to 99 years, and with a minimum monthly cost for companies of 5 euro cents per meter square / month.
This model of industrial land rental has been successful in other regions such as the Valencian Community, since it allows access to industrial land at almost no cost to companies, which could occupy a plot from 32 euros per month, committing themselves to building the facilities , start economic activity and create permanent jobs.The tender is accessed via online, and companies have to submit their offers electronically in the Contractor Profile of the City Council.
