The Department of Social Services and Immigration of the Torre Pacheco City Council has advanced all the dining room scholarships, paying the families the amount from March 16 to June 22, with 66 days received, totaling 47,646, € 73.
These scholarships have reached 141 minors in the municipality.Given the State of Alarm caused by COVID-19, the Educational Centers suspended their face-to-face classes and with it the dining room service.
Some students in the municipality of Torre Pacheco enjoy this service thanks to the dining room scholarships that ensure the basic right to food for these children who are in a vulnerable situation and guarantee that families can continue to enjoy of said scholarship.This financial aid, which comes from the Ministry of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda, is managed by the municipal Social Services in coordination with the School Centers and the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy through the General Directorate of Family and Protection of Minors.
