This week, the boys and girls who make up the Council met electronically to discuss possible solutions to prevent and fight gender-based violence and for equality between men and women.
The prevention and fight against gender violence was the topic chosen by the Council in the last plenary session and thus it was communicated to all the educational centers of the municipality, which have been working and debating this issue in classrooms until they were closed. due to alarm status.
Among the proposals for debate are the organization of activities to raise awareness and prevent violence such as talks, dramatizations of short stories, movies or workshops;
the visibility of the problem through assemblies or debates with the participation of minors;
or the improvement in the care and protection of victims.
In total, more than thirty proposals have been collected by the students of the schools represented in the Council, thematically being finally grouped into eleven.
These proposals are being valued and debated in various online meetings by the members of the Council, waiting for the next Plenary to be called and held.
