The Civil Guard detains the two alleged perpetrators of a robbery in a house in Torre Pacheco (13/02/2020)

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed in Torre Pacheco the operation 'Torne', an investigation aimed at clarifying a robbery with force in a house in the town, which has resulted in the arrest of two people, as alleged authors of crime of robbery with force.

After the operation, which is framed in the 'Plan against theft in homes', the Civil Guard has seized a vehicle and the means used to carry out the criminal activity.

He has also recovered the cash stolen in the assaulted house.

The proceedings began last Friday, February 7, when the victim alerted the Civil Guard to have suffered a robbery in his home in the Pachequero municipality in strange circumstances, in fact the victim himself detected the commission of the robbery one day after committed, realizing when he went to take the money he kept in a drawer.

The victim, after reviewing the security cameras inside the residence, checked how two men had accessed his home and stolen the money he did not find.

The same did not understand how they could have accessed his house, because there was nothing forced and all the dependencies of it were exactly the same as when he left it.

For these facts he filed a complaint at the Main Post of the Civil Guard of Torre Pacheco.

Effective Prevention of Citizen Security of the Benemérita initiated the corresponding investigation to verify the facts denounced and, where appropriate, clarify them.

The first steps of the investigation were carried out in the property subject to theft, where the civil guards carried out a technical-ocular inspection and watched the recordings of the surveillance cameras, in which they obtained clear images of the authors of the robbery, confirming that they they moved quickly through the rooms of the house and constantly watched to detect the possible arrival of the inhabitants.

Investigators continued the investigation and distributed the captured images of the robbery commission to numerous patrols.

A few hours later, one of these patrols identified in a residential of the municipality two men of similar physical characteristics to those that could be seen in the video, that circulated through the residential very slowly and making short stops to approach the doors of different homes .

In the superficial search carried out on the suspects, a transparent, rigid but flexible plastic with visible scratches and totally compatible with its use to move the slip of the locks was located hidden in the arm of one of them.

Once all the necessary evidence was obtained, just a few hours after filing the complaint, the Civil Guard arrested the two alleged perpetrators of a robbery committed in a house in Torre Pacheco, also frustrating the commission of more criminal acts.

During the arrest, the civil guards seized the vehicle and the contraption, both used for the development of criminal activity.

They also recovered cash stolen from the house, which has been returned to the victim.

The Swiss and Moroccan detainees, 53 and 59 years old, residing in Murcia and with a history of similar crimes, the effects recovered and the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction of San Javier (Murcia).

These are two people with more than twenty background records for the commission of similar crimes, to which are added crimes related to documentary falsity, as well as numerous requisites for evasion of Justice.

In this case, they allegedly went to residential areas to steal from homes, after controlling the routines of the inhabitants and acted as soon as they left the house.
