From the Department of Citizen Participation and Transparency of the City of Torre Pacheco, in collaboration with the other municipal areas, all public information that is held by the City Council through a new municipal transparency portal has been made available to the public : https://transparencia.torrepacheco.es/.
In it you can access in a clear, entertaining and friendly way all the available information, organized in seven main axes: Municipal transparency, Planning, Access to information, Participation and collaboration, Economic transparency, Contracting services, and Works Public and urban planning.
As explained by the Councilor for Citizen Participation and Transparency, Mª Valentina López Martínez, as the technician responsible for the Portal, Ana Gloria Gómez, through the Portal, all the information available to the City Council is shown in a structured and understandable way, guaranteeing the mechanisms to facilitate accessibility, interoperability, quality, reuse, identification and location of information.
The councilor wanted to put in value, in the presence of the Mayor and other councilors of the government team who have attended the presentation of the Portal, the efforts of the various municipal departments and departments, who have been collaborating in the location and publication of the information that works in their respective areas.
Throughout 2019, the identification and management of information has been implemented in accordance with the Dynamic Transparency Index (DYNTRA) and reaching compliance with the publication of most of the required items.
Currently, of the 162 indicators of the index, the City of Torre Pacheco meets 129 (80%), so it is in 3rd place in the ranking of municipalities of the Region of Murcia and 24 in the general ranking of municipalities and municipalities throughout Spain.
But, beyond the importance of these rankings, this Portal is born with the vocation of becoming a tool for everyday use by citizens, groups and entities, who can send their queries, proposals and suggestions so that the Portal is a tool dynamic, which will evolve not only by the municipal initiative itself but also, and especially, in response to the needs and demands of citizens.
