The Association of Civil Protection Volunteers of Torre Pacheco has presented the new material acquired for the uniformity of its members, ranging from footwear, clothing and complementary material for emergency situations.
Intervention boots have been acquired and in terms of costumes, pants, technical t-shirt, long and short-sleeved polo shirts, polar jacket, cap and belt.
As for complementary material, portawalkit vests, knives and flashlights have been purchased, all of them special for emergencies.
Likewise, various printing materials (folders, notebook, etc.) necessary for the documentary management of the services performed have also been acquired.
Juan Salvador Sánchez, Councilor for Emergencies and Civil Protection, has stated that "We provide and will continue to provide our Civil Protection with the necessary resources, motivating resources for volunteers who are already part of the Association and encourages the incorporation of more troops."
In addition, he pointed out that "Civil Protection has not only reinforced its volunteer training program, but also does it with municipal personnel who, for sports and leisure activities in general, are always together with citizens through training in SVB and CPR."
The Chief Coordinator of Civil Protection, Antonio Jesús Sanmartín said that "They will always be at the service of citizens, helping the bodies and security forces of the State in all that is necessary and appreciates the continued involvement of the City of Torre Pacheco so that we have the best means, it is a great motivation for the volunteers who form the group. "
The Civil Protection service of Torre-Pacheco currently has 30 volunteers, annually performs more than 200 preventive and support services to Local Police and Civil Guard, in sports competitions, parties and cultural and religious events, as well as training on first Aid and SVB to ESO and Baccalaureate students.
