The Prometheus Association and Foundation organizes its VII Popular Solidarity Race;
an event that was presented, yesterday, at the City Council of Torre Pacheco, by the Councilor for Sports, Oscar Montoya, and the president of the Association, Ascension Méndez, accompanied by José Andreu and Maria Encarnación García, Prometeo users .
The Prometheus Psychic and Sensory Disabled Association, in collaboration with the City Council of Torre Pacheco, organized the VII edition of this popular race, whose money raised will go to the project works of the new Day Center.
The sporting event will take place next Sunday, February 9, from 10:00 a.m. with departure and arrival at the Municipal Frontón of Torre Pacheco, and with a tour of the town, a family day with races for all audiences, 7k, racing minors and macha of 5k.
The inscriptions are open in the web of line of exit, as well as in the Centers of Prometheus.
Ascension Méndez, has reiterated the social work carried out by Prometheus, indicating that the purpose of this race is to raise funds for the Day Center, currently under construction, as well as to inform users, and show society the work of the Asociation.
In addition, he has invited to participate in this event, thanking the collaboration of the City Council of Torre Pacheco, as well as the collaborating companies.
Finally, the Councilor for Sports, has invited neighbors and visitors to enjoy a Sunday day with family and friends, an opportunity to show once again, the solidarity side of Torre Pacheco, a municipality that always supports this type of initiatives, where the values ​​of sport and solidarity are always present, a must with PROMETEO.
