Torre Pacheco City Council has signed two Collaboration Agreements with the AIDEMAR Association;
an agreement for the Integration of the Disabled of the Mar Menor Region, whereby the Association will receive from the City of Torre Pacheco 12,000 euros to cover expenses for the development and maintenance of activities for the group of people with disabilities in the municipality of Torre Pacheco in early care and functional medical rehabilitation services, day centers, special education center and special professional qualification program;
and another collaboration agreement between the City Council of Torre Pacheco and the Special Employment Center CEE AIDEMAR, of 100,000 euros, in order to provide collaboration in the support of their activities and support for the ordinary expenses of training and professional care, which allow the integration of disabled people users of the referred Center, in the professional category of gardening, carrying out practical training actions in the various public spaces of the municipality, in the framework and development of the training project "Continuous Training Action in Gardening".
An act in which the mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, the Councilor for Social Services, María José López, the Councilor for Equality and Employment, Verónica Martínez, the Councilor for Sports, Oscar Montoya and the President of Aidemar, have been present, Francisco Javier García, among other authorities.
