MiraMiró, A show where the art of Joan Miró comes alive thanks to contemporary dance (13/11/2019)

A trip for the whole family through dance, music, movement, animation and art that will be performed at the Performing Arts Center of Torre-Pacheco

The Baal dance company arrives in Murcia, specifically in the town of Torre-Pacheco, with its great show MiraMiró.

MiraMiró is a dance and video animation show for the youngest of the house born from the universe of Joan Miró.

A selection of his graphic work forms the framework in which this artistic dance piece is developed.

The bright colors, geometric shapes and the characteristic figures and characters of the Catalan artist stimulate fantasy, suggesting that everything is possible.

By magic the paintings come to life thanks to music and transport us to an imaginary cosmo-universe.

A deconstruction of Joan Miró's drawings that with music and dance come alive before the eyes of the spectators transmitting new sensations and stimulating the little ones thanks not only to the beauty of dance and movements but also to the color and The art of the international artist.

The MiraMiró show is a co-production of the Main Theater of Palma and Baal with the collaboration of Successió Miró and the Joan Miró Foundation.

In this multidisciplinary art project where drawing, movement, dance, color and animation go hand in hand, two important collaborations must be highlighted: the music of Kiko Barrenengoa who has created a soundtrack with exquisite care, so that this one is stimulating to the younger minds and the animation of Adri Bonsai, winner of the Goya 2018 awards for the best animated short by Woume and Woody by Jaume Carrió.

MiraMiro has been touring the best national theaters and international dance festivals with more than 40 functions throughout the year.

The MiraMiro work won the Special Prize for the Best Show awarded by the Association of Theaters and Auditoriums of the Balearic Islands and has just jumped the puddle to the International Prism Dance Festival of Panama.

This autumn is touring a dozen Spanish cities such as Pamplona, ​​Valladolid, Valencia, Aranjuez, Zaragoza, Badajoz or Tenerife.
