The Department of Equality of the City of Torre Pacheco renews the campaign "Party, Respect and Enjoy 0.0% attacks."
The objective is to prevent sexual assaults and harassment of women during local festivities that will be held from October 4 to 13 in Torre Pacheco.
For this reason, panels have been published that will be present at the fairgrounds.
Also, this campaign, very visual and impactful, will have an important presence on social networks, messages will be broadcast on radio and in different media, in addition to informational posters, bracelets, recyclable glasses and backpacks.
The campaign will have a Violet Point in the Festero Campus, to inform the Protocol to be followed in case of possible aggressions.
The point will be attended by Civil Protection volunteers, who along with Local Police and Private Security personnel of the enclosure have received, through the Department of Equality, the training to know how to act in this type of situation.
In the words of the Councilor for Equality, Verónica Martínez, the City Council intends to sensitize the population and promote parties free of sexual violence, urging citizens not to look the other way if they witness any situation that could lead to a sexist aggression, report if someone throws a drug into a drink, witness a circumstance in which one or more men are harassing a woman or any other situation that could endanger the physical and / or psychological integrity of a girl or a woman.
