6 athletes of the Aidemar Sports Club have participated in a new edition of the Spanish Championship of Adapted Golf organized by the Spanish Federation of sports for people with intellectual disabilities FEDDI, which was held in Santander from September 22 to 25.
Our athletes obtained great achievements in the different events in which they participated.
Thus, Jose Antonio Samper has won the silver medal in the Adapted Golf category.
On the other hand, Emilio Madrid (gold medal) and Rubén García (silver medal).
This together with the 4th place of David López and the 9th place of Miguel A. López places the sports club as one of the leading clubs in this modality at the national level since it holds 4 of the top 10 places in this category.
This success, which comes to revalidate those obtained in previous years, confirms the Aidemar Sports Club as a reference in adapted golf, having more than 30 athletes training in different golf courses of our region, Lo Romero Golf in Pilar de la Horadada, Roda golf in San Javier and the municipal field of Torre Pacheco.
All this brilliant record would not have been possible without the collaboration of the administration (Regional Government and Municipalities of San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier, Pilar de la Horadada and Torre Pacheco), as well as the Golf Federation of the Region of Murcia that has collaborated with the equipment of the golf team that has obtained such brilliant results.
