Students of the IES Luis Manzanares of Torre Pacheco earn the title of "Best virtual entrepreneurs in Spain", after defeating more than 300 students from all over Spain, from 83 educational centers, in La Nave de Madrid, in the eighth national final of Yougn Business Talents, the Business Simulation Education Program, organized by ABANCA, ESIC Business and Marketing School and Praxis MMT.
The City Council of Torre Pacheco hosted the act of reception of the IES students Luis Manzanares, winners in the VIII National Final of Young Business Talents.
The students of 2nd year of the Baccalaureate of the subject of Fundamentals of Administration and Management of said educational center have been winners after participating in this final that is part of the educational simulation program organized by Abanca, Esic Business and Marketing School and Praxis MMT It has been held at La Nave de Madrid.
The mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation, received the winning team of Torre Pacheco, formed by 4 students, who were accompanied by the director of the IES Luis Manzanares, Manuela Cánovas, the professor of Economics of the Fundamentals of Administration and Management, Elena Martínez and the president of the AMPA, Isabel Lledó.
The students who reached the final had to demonstrate their knowledge and run their dairy products company with the use of a virtual simulator.
The young people have become responsible for the companies themselves and in this way they have taken into account the market changes and the different variables that were proposed to obtain the maximum benefits for their companies and aspire to the title.
Since the educational program began last November, the 342 young people have managed to reach the final after exceeding 10,049 students from 342 schools throughout Spain enrolled in this edition.
For this they have been competing from the classrooms in different online phases, complementing theoretical training with practice.
The IES team Luis Manzanares de Torre Pacheco "Legendarios", formed by 4 students, won the victory of the eighth Young Business Talentes, in a tournament that seeks the best young virtual entrepreneurs in Spain, getting 600 euros.
