The Regional Airport of Murcia, made last Wednesday a simulation of general aeronautical emergency following the regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization and in accordance with the Emergency Plan of the AIRM.
Volunteers of Civil Protection of Torre Pacheco, participated in this first simulation, that simulated an emergency derived from the landing of an aircraft.
In addition, of the intervention of Civil Protection of various municipalities, intervened, health of 061, firefighters, Red Cross, Civil Guard, National Police and Local Police.
In the course of the simulation, the Autonomous Community activated the Territorial Plan of Civil Protection, going on to take charge of the operations.
This simulation allows to evaluate the procedures of action and the security measures foreseen in the different plans, as well as to test the response capacity of the emergency services and agencies, participants.
