The mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation, has been in charge of welcoming and showing the municipal offices, the students of the Moate Business College Center, County Westmeatrh, Ireland, who have been accompanied by the director of IES Gerardo Molina, Mari Luz Granero, as well as students and teachers from the center.
The purpose of the program is to boost job prospects and personal development, in addition to helping our education, training and youth systems to provide teaching and learning that equip these young people with the skills needed for the labor market and today's society and future.
The young students at Moate Business College, County Westmeatrh, are welcomed by families of the municipality and will carry out work practices at Radio Municipal de Torre Pacheco, at the Tourism Office and at the Department of Employment and Local Development.
With the mobility of these young people, to carry out internships in companies, will allow them to benefit from a wider educational offer and improve their linguistic competence.
With this program, Gerardo Molina, aims to encourage a generation of future professionals, better qualified to meet the demands of the European labor market, acquire specific skills and improve the vision of the social, economic and employment environment.
