Eva Hernández, a specialist in Traditional Chinese Medicine, presented the book "Recipes of Traditional Chinese Medicine for Winter" at the Torre Pacheco Municipal Public Library, as well as offering attendees a talk on this topic.
The act was attended by the Councilor for Education, Youth and Employment, Conchi Martínez, who was in charge of presenting the book's author, Eva Hernández, a specialist in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
With the collaboration of the Association "Siempre Contigo", the author offered a talk with the purpose of showing the most appropriate foods that we should eat at each time of the year, as well as knowing the energy of each food, and depending on the it, how and when it is better to take some foods or others.
All based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, and also explained the different seasons, focusing on winter.
The Councilor for Education, stressed the importance of good nutrition for our health, and above all healthy lifestyle habits.
Eva Hernández, after making a brief introduction and explaining in a general way the Traditional Chinese Medicine, completed her talk pointing a series of recipes, so that in a simple and healthy way we have a good way to feed and nourish ourselves according to the energy of the winter.
The book with a symbolic price, will allocate all the money collected to the Association "La Cajita de Madera" of Granada.
This NGO, intends with this publication, that the population has at its disposal simple and healthy recipes and at the same time, helps paying for treatments to people who want to treat themselves with natural medicine and economically can not afford it.
