The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, participated this morning in celebration of the IX Paella Solidarity organized by Manos Unidas in IFEP fairgrounds in Torre Pacheco.

The event was attended by 2,000 people who participated in the tasting of a paella made with ingredients from altruistic provided by individuals and companies in the Campo de Cartagena, and cooked and served by over 300 volunteers.

Together with the counselor Bascuñana present were the Director of Pensions, Evaluation and Social Inclusion Programmes, John Brown and the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel Madrid, President of Manos Unidas, Torre Pacheco, Maria de los Angeles Barquero, and members of the municipal corporation.
