The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, and the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Josefa Marin, today visited the RM-F22 road to mark the start of the repair and improvement of the firm, with which it seeks to increase the quality of communication and traffic route.
This work will have an investment of 266,324 euros.
Francisco Bernabé said that "these works, starting today, will allow the road to adapt and improve access to the village of Balsicas, representing the second most populated site of the town, with more than 3,300 inhabitants, and its link with Torre Pacheco and the RM-F26, which communicates with Los Alcázares ".
"This road is therefore one of the most important roads in the municipality, by transiting annually more than one million vehicles, of which many are heavy with farming of Torre Pacheco, with the inevitable impact that entails for the state of the platform, "said Barnabas.
The head of the Ministry of Public Works announced that this improvement will focus on a stretch of 6.4 kilometers, between the intersection with MR-F26, which leads to Los Alcázares, and 6.4 kilometer, at the junction with Torre Pacheco variant, and it will be culminated by the end of this year 2015.
Among the works it emphasizes strengthening paving asphalt hot, which "will return the best conditions of safety and comfort," according to the Minister, who in turn pointed to also proceed to the training and coating gutters, building work to adapt and improve drainage and replacement of road markings and road markings.
