This afternoon concluded in the Day Centre Torre-Pacheco the lecture series for adults "Learning to care", which was held from March to June in the various towns of the municipality of Torre-Pacheco.
This cycle has had as main objective to promote prevention and health in people of Torre-Pacheco.
This is a series of conferences aimed especially our seniors, where they will be able to learn from the hands of their doctors and nurses and improve their quality of life, from a good diet and adequate physical exercise to as having an active attitude and positive at this stage of his life.
During these four months they have lectured at The Jimenado, Balsicas, San Cayetano, Dolores de Pacheco, Torre-Pacheco and Roldán.
We treated several topics such as osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, cholesterol control, sugar, healthy habits, the importance of good nutrition, prevention of falls and live emotions in a healthy way.
These lectures have been given by family doctors and nurses from municipal health centers
