Garre highlights the capacity for renewal of regional agriculture "in its ongoing commitment to innovation and scientific knowledge" (28/11/2014)

The traditional Mediterranean Agricultural Fair is renewed with 'Fame Innowa', which hopes to become an international benchmark in the industry, "adapted to changing times and market demands"

The head of Murcia presented today at the Palacio de San Esteban, in Murcia, the show 'Fame Innowa', to be held at the fairgrounds in Torre Pacheco from 13 to 16 May 2015, and which renews the Traditional Mediterranean Agricultural Fair-Fame

Alberto Garre was joined at the event by the Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, and Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz, as well as the mayor of Torre Pacheco, Fina Marin, director of the Institution Ferial, Antonio Miras, and the rectors of the University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic.

The show 'Fame Innowa' hopes to become a international benchmark in the agricultural sector, "adapted to changing times."

Thus, the Mediterranean Agricultural Fair-Fame, who turns 29 editions this next year, will have a new direction, giving way to 'Fame Innowa', to be held at the fairgrounds in Torre Pacheco of 13 to 16 May 2015.

This event, Garre said, "is the ideal place to display and sell all potential means of production and agricultural innovation platform" in the national and international market.

"The Mediterranean Agricultural Fair has become the oldest of the regional agricultural sector, which in this edition has been added to the name of 'Innowa' and drive to the International Forum of Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation, to focus its activities and content around the research activity, from which arise all the advances that are then transferred and applied in agriculture, either through infrastructure or new farming techniques and varieties, "said the president.

During those days of May are to give appointment the leading agricultural technology companies both nationally and internationally, to present the latest technical developments and the latest developments that are applied in all processes of agriculture in a sector increasingly global and competitive.
