A collector lead over five kilometers of wastewater districts of Camachos pachequeras and Dolores to principal sewage (14/01/2014)

The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, and the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García, today visited the works Camachos manifold, which will serve a population equivalent to one thousand inhabitants, whose houses will be connected to the main sewage.

This collector, 5.1 kilometers long, will collect the scattered waters for treatment and reuse in irrigated areas of the zone.

The works have an investment of 814,831 euros, financed 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union.

Cerda said that this collector "solves the problem of Camachos hamlet of scattered and vertebrates and their area of ​​Torre Pacheco field to lead the water to the treatment plant through the drive Dolores de Pacheco".

The agriculture minister stressed that "this action is intended to improve and solve the evacuation of wastewater with small villages."

Cerda said that since the Ministry of Agriculture "continue pursuing the actions of the General Plan of cleansing and purifying we are developing to address the lack of infrastructure in nuclei with large geographic dispersion."

According to the Minister of Agriculture, "Our goal is for all citizens of any urban center, however small, have an infrastructure for sanitation and water purification."

The General Plan of cleansing and purifying of the region represents an investment of 600 million euros and allowed sewage to provide all of the municipalities in Murcia with more than 100 cubic hectometers per year are recovered, and the construction a network of more than 700 kilometers of collectors.
