Last Friday the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, received several athletes of the municipality, who have obtained a medal in a championship of Spain or above in 2013, in greeting to his outstanding sporting career, his special dedication and effort, and contribution to the projection and dissemination of the municipality of Torre-Pacheco.
This year has been 25 recognized athletes who have won medals in championships in Spain and Europe, shows the condition of the pachequero sport.
The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, congratulated the winners and highlighted the important work of these athletes have been recognized this year, as his win was the result of the effort and the work they perform daily, some in their activity as clubs or sports teams, and others in their tenacity and ability to excel in the practice of a sport.
Did not forget the other athletes and clubs that had not been recognized and encouraged them to continue working in this line of improvement and improvement as the real reward is to feel fulfilled with practice and perseverance in that to which it is dedicated.
