An ordinance to keep public spaces clean Torre-Pacheco (21/06/2013)

This morning the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, and the Councillor for the Environment, Francisco Rosillo, presented the amendment to the ordinance on the protection and pet ownership in 2000 and has been adapted to the new regulations.

This ordinance includes three novelties.

One is the concern for aesthetics, hygiene and health in the way púlbica, so that has changed infringement mild to severe non-removal of droppings road, going to cost now fine 300-1750 Euro.

In addition, the ordinance is introduced into the potentially dangerous dogs legislation, which should be obligatory appropriate muzzle when in public places and leashed less than 2 meters.

Add the mandatory use of microchip, being not using it because of minor offense (a fine of 30 to 300 euros).

This ordinance has had the collaboration of the College of Veterinary Ofgicial the Region of Murcia, and has the support of all political groups that make up the municipal corporation.

To raise awareness of this ordinance to citizenship will be making presentations at various colleges and the local police will conduct an information campaign through September.

In addition, the company collaborates with STV Management providing a "bone-portabasura" to facilitate the collection of excreta of animals from the streets of the town.

This campaign aims to raise awareness and create a habit so that the streets of Torre-Pacheco are clean, and take care of our public spaces is everyone.
