Constituda Local Coordinating Board against Gender Violence Torre-Pacheco (29/01/2013)

This morning the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid and the director general of gender violence prevention, youth, legal protection and juvenile reform have been the Local Board against Gender Violence Township.

This table comes from an initiative of the general direction from the conviction that the coordination between municipal officers is essential to the fight against gender violence and it is essential for implantation in the city of Torre-Pacheco of the local board , which aims to optimize the performances on prevention and improving care for victims.

The functions assigned to the Local Coordination tables against Gender Violence are:

1.

Publicize the lines of work and the scope of each area represented.

2.

Set criteria for early detection of cases of domestic violence.

3.

Agreeing on common criteria for the detection and treatment of high-risk cases.

4.

Tracking high-risk cases.

5.

Lack of coordination, analyze and propose improvements.

6.

Analyze the impact of awareness and prevention campaigns conducted.

7.

Pooling and analyzing data on gender violence in each area.

8.

Maintain a fluid contact with the Directorate General responsible for gender violence.

9.

To promote awareness and prevention strategies general and specific.

In Local Coordinating Board represents all the agents involved, directly or indirectly, in the prevention and treatment of cases of gender violence (social welfare council, councilor equality IMSAS manager, local police official, agent of equality, medical centers representatives, representatives Guardia Civil and Autonomous Community representative) and, in the particular, will be invited to participate in the Bureau all those stakeholders who are related to a case of gender violence specifically, they are not officers (SEF, schools, etc..).

The Local Coordination Committee shall meet, ordinarily, every six months and, extraordinarily, whenever called by the President for reasons of urgency, on its own initiative or at the request of one or more of its members.
