The City Council of Torre Pacheco acquires new short jackets for the agents of the Local Police, thus completing the uniformity change in which the yellow color of the old clothes disappears replaced by the black color.
The objective of the Department of Public Safety of the City of Torre Pacheco is to project a completely new corporate image and technical characteristics in line with most of the police in the Region of Murcia.
The Councilor for Public Safety, Juan Salvador Sánchez, said that the new hunters have been selected among the companies that have participated in the public tender, "seeking ergonomics and an improvement in the quality of materials that facilitate usability", has also indicated that "40% savings have been achieved with respect to the initial bid price".
As for the garments, he stressed that the theory of several layers has been implemented in the new windbreakers, "seeking the evacuation of moisture to the outside, with different elements that protect the agent from heat loss at low temperatures", also avoiding the penetration of water and the loss of heat.
In the coming weeks all members of the Local Police, individually and personally, will receive a bulletproof vest and anti-cut gloves, with high level ballistic protection and anti-knife and anti-punch protection, similar to that of other security forces.
The councilor has remarked that "from the City is tends in this way to seek safety, durability and comfort of the garments, adapting to the physical conditions of each agent."
