The Mayor of Torre-Pacheco, Antonio León, visited the lighting works on Avenida de Balsicas and the construction of a roundabout in front of the Radar de Torre Pacheco.

The municipal architect, José Antonio Albaladejo, as well as members of the government team and municipal technicians, have also visited the works, included in the 2017 Works and Services Plan.

The land of the old radio station of the Navy, the Radar, as it is known in Torre Pacheco, of approximately 100,000 meters;

it is a space that the City Council intends to prepare and adapt for the use of all pachequeros;

installing in the first place the festeras clubs.

Likewise, as Leon said, and specifically taking advantage of the Works and Services Plan 2017, this City Council decided that one of the projects co-financed with the Autonomous Community was to provide safe, broad access and with a view to the future to what was going to be this area of ​​social, recreational and sports equipment;

and that includes a roundabout of approximately 2,800 square meters, which will serve as access to this whole area of ​​equipment that is incorporated into the urban fabric of Torre Pacheco.

The work, according to Albaladejo, "consists of the lighting of approximately 500 meters of the avenue of Balsicas, led lighting on both sides to facilitate pedestrian lighting and the construction of a roundabout, as well as services that integrate it even more in the urban plot of Torre Pacheco ".

The municipal architect has indicated that this work is being carried out within the framework of the Works and Services Plan 2017, a plan co-financed by the Autonomous Community and the City Council of Torre-Pacheco, likewise, has indicated that it has an award price of 194,490 , 78 euros.
