Next Wednesday, there will be a demonstration in Madrid in support of agriculture, water, employment and our future.
It is not the time to "adjust accounts" or look at the multiple mistakes of the past.
It is time to support united a claim on which our future as a people depends.
The councilors of Ganar Totana IU, we support seamless mobilization in support of farmers, ranchers and irrigators in the framework of the actions coordinated by the community of Irrigators of Totana.
We also consider important the call to mobilize with acts in Totana, when our farmers are speaking before the Ministry of Agriculture in Atocha.
Respecting the freedom of each one, we call for civic and democratic mobilization in support of farmers, ranchers, farm workers and irrigators, with a concentration in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, with closings of shops and establishments for a time in solidarity and for the guarantee of water in the Levante Español for agricultural work and also for the water for human consumption in our homes that we all need.
Without water we will not have a future and we consider that there are alternatives to regain the necessary social and political consensus that guarantees the survival of a sector that occupies more than 80% of employment, direct and indirect, in the working population.
We call for solidarity and support for mobilizations to guarantee water for our future.
